Homework Procedures:

• Homework reinforces the topics presented in class lecture, course book, and course notes.  The assigned homework is the minimum amount of problems you should work.  You should work as many problems in the course book as you can until you have mastered the material and you are able to work the problems efficiently.
• Homework will be collected.
• Expect a homework assignment every week.
• Homework is due at the beginning of class on the due date.
• You may work with your classmates on homework.
• I encourage you to work as many of the problems on your own as possible and discuss with your classmates as a last resort or to compare solutions.
• Your grade for homework is based only on turning the assignment in on time and in the correct format.
• You may miss turning in one assignment without affecting your homework grade.
• Incorrect or missing solutions will not affect your homework grade.
• I plan to post homework solutions on the web approximately one day after the assignment is due.
• Homework format:
• Use 8.5 x 11 inch paper.
• Do not use notebook paper with ripped, torn or jagged edges.
• Use only one side.
• Staple all sheets together in the upper left corner.
• Put your name, homework set number, and date in the upper right corner of the first page.
