Description: You can now define damage initiation criteria and damage evolution in the Property module of ABAQUS/CAE. The following forms of damage are available:

Several of these damage forms—Johnson-Cook, MSFLD, and Hashin—are new to ABAQUS. They are described in Johnson-Cook damage initiation criterion in ABAQUS/Explicit, Section 7.7; Müschenborn-Sonne forming limit diagram (MSFLD) in ABAQUS/Explicit, Section 7.6; and Damage model for fiber-reinforced composite materials, Section 7.8, respectively.
