14.5 Frame selector

Products: ABAQUS/CAE  ABAQUS/Viewer

Benefits: You can now navigate directly to a particular frame in an animation by using the Frame Selector dialog box.

Description: The Frame Selector dialog box can be launched by clicking the icon in the context area. This tool provides two methods for controlling the currently active frame: you can enter a frame index or time value directly into a field on the left side of the dialog box, or you can drag the slider on the right side of the dialog box to the desired frame or time. This dialog box is shown in Figure 14–5.

The labels in the Frame Selector dialog box are context-sensitive and depend on whether an animation is being displayed, the type of animation, and for time history animations, whether the time history is frame-based or time-based.
