Problems

This problems deals with condensation of a given vapor mixture. You need to have knowledge of mass balances, equilibirum ratios and interpretating DePriester Charts.

You need to know when to use fugacities, equilibirum ratios, raoult's law for real gases and activity co-efficients to solve this problem about solubility.

This probem deals with heats of reaction and is a very elementary problem in which you use the heat of combustion to calculate the heat of formation.

Problem #4 is gives you a certain process and asks you to calculate the energy changes and work effects in constant pressure and constant volume situations.

Here, you are asked to compute the entropy change associated with the mixing of 2 gases.

Tests your understanding of reversibility, irreversibility and impossibility as pertaining to heat engines.
