9.2 Coriolis forces

Benefits: You can add and edit Coriolis force loads in ABAQUS/CAE.

Description: Coriolis force loads, previously available in ABAQUS/Standard, can now be defined in ABAQUS/CAE. Coriolis force loads are distributed loads based on the rotation of the model, similar to centrifugal and rotary acceleration loads. Figure 9–1 shows the Edit Load dialog box for a Coriolis force.
