Benefits: The viewport background color controls have been enhanced to provide better model visibility when you use a gradient background.
Description: The gradient background color option includes an override function. Due to the number of colors often used in sketches and X–Y plots, these images may not appear clearly against a gradient background. If a gradient background color scheme is in use, ABAQUS/CAE overrides it with a solid background when displaying sketches or X–Y plots.
The Allow override setting is toggled on by default, as shown in Figure 2–9. If desired, toggle this setting off to use the selected gradient background regardless of the viewport contents.
