2.7 Suppressing and resuming step-dependent objects

Product: ABAQUS/CAE

Benefits: You can suppress step-dependent objects to exclude them temporarily from the model.

Description: You can suppress output requests, interactions, loads, boundary conditions, and fields using the step-dependent managers or using the suppress procedures from the main menu bar in the Step, Interaction, and Load modules. A previously suppressed object can be resumed in the same manner. Suppressed objects are not written to the input file and cannot be edited. Figure 2–6 illustrates how suppressed objects are displayed in the step-dependent managers.

Figure 2–6 The Load Manager indicates that the load named Force is suppressed.
