Benefits: You can now select colors from the full spectrum when customizing the background, fonts, and graphic symbols used in the viewports. The expanded color options provide you with more ways to customize the color of items.
Description: You are no longer limited to a list of color names when you select a color for the background, fonts, or graphic symbols in ABAQUS/CAE. You can choose any of the following methods to select a new color:
A color palette of 24 common colors
An eyedropper that you can use to select any color on the computer screen
A full spectrum color wheel with brightness control and a picked point for the current selection
Red, green, and blue (RGB)
Hue, saturation, and value (HSV)
Cyan, magenta, and yellow (CMY)
A list of several hundred named colors, including shades of gray
Select a new color by opening the dialog box that contains the settings for the item you want to change. Click the rectangular color sample . The Select Color dialog box shown in Figure 23 appears.
Use the methods in the dialog box to select a new color or to modify the current color.Note: XY Curve Options still uses an abbreviated list of colors.
