Project

WU Walks is an innovative WUSTL-specific app that calculates the most efficient route between buildings on campus.

Motivation

Sometimes when running late to class or when trying to avoid terrible weather, students rely on finding the most efficient paths to get between classes. We hope that with WUSTL Walks, students can minimize the time spent walking to class.

Objective

  • Create an app that optimizes the distance it takes to get between destinations on campus and in the Village/South 40.
  • Add option to minimize distance walked in outdoors to avoid rain, snow, etc.
