This note is intended to provide some logistical information to help us all get started on the right foot this semester.
First, the webpage for the class is here:
https://classes.engineering.wustl.edu/cse560m
We will extensively use Canvas (for assignments and grades) and Piazza (for communications) all semester. We will also be using Gradescape for grading and returning the paper exams. Links to Canvas and Piazza are at the top of the webpage. I will add you to Piazza closer to the first day of class.
The schedule (calendar) on the webpage is reasonably close to what we will do, but there might be a few changes. Dates for exams are fairly fixed, so you can plan on those being firm.
My office hours are posted on the webpage. They are on Monday and Wednesday from 3 pm to 4 pm and by appointment (contact me on Piazza). I am also available after class if requested.
TA office hours will be available, and once we have those hours determined, they will be posted on the webpage.
The first class is this coming Monday (Aug 26) in Green Hall L0120. I'll start out with some additional logistics before we dive into the lecture material.
Class lectures will be recorded via Zoom and will be available on Canvas and the class webpage.
Again, welcome to computer architecture, and I hope this is a productive semester for all of us!
