To customize the appearance of X–Y curves, select OptionsXY Curve from the main menu bar or click in the toolbox. You can customize the line style, symbol style, and legend text of each curve.
Only those curves that appear in the most recent X–Y plot are available for customization. You can customize the following:
The text that appears in the legend describing the data. For more information, see Customizing the X–Y plot legend, Section 29.6.3.
The appearance of the line representing the data (the curve). For more information, see Customizing the appearance of an X–Y curve, Section 29.6.4.
The appearance of the symbols along the curve. For more information, see Customizing the symbols used on an X–Y curve, Section 29.6.5.
To set the X–Y curve options:
From the main menu bar, select OptionsXY Curve; the XY Curve Options dialog box appears.
Use the curve options to select and then customize the appearance of the X–Y curves in the current viewport. Click Apply to implement your changes.
To restore the default appearance of one or more selected curves, click Defaults.
When you have finished customizing the appearance of your X–Y curves, click Dismiss to close the XY Curve Options dialog box.
