15.14 Using the connector property editors
After you specify a connection type for a connector property, you can define connector behaviors for connection types that have one or more available components of relative motion. If you change the connection type after you have defined connector behaviors, you will have to delete the connector behaviors and redefine them for the new connection type. This section explains how to enter data related to connector behaviors in the connector property editor. The following topics are covered:
Defining elasticity, Section 15.14.1
Defining damping, Section 15.14.2
Defining friction, Section 15.14.3
Configuring tangential behavior for connector friction, Section 15.14.4
Specifying predefined friction parameters or internal contact forces, Section 15.14.5
Defining plasticity, Section 15.14.6
Defining damage, Section 15.14.7
Defining damage evolution, Section 15.14.8
Defining a stop, Section 15.14.9
Defining a lock, Section 15.14.10
Defining failure, Section 15.14.11
Defining a reference length, Section 15.14.12
Defining time integration, Section 15.14.13
