13.7 Orienting the mesh stack direction for orphan meshes

Product: ABAQUS/CAE  

Benefits: You can change the orientation of continuum shell and gasket elements in an orphan mesh part.

Description: You must orient continuum shell and gasket elements correctly. For native ABAQUS/CAE meshes, the swept meshing technique ensures that the mesh stack orientation is consistent. For orphan mesh parts, you can use the Edit Mesh toolset to change the orientation.
