Description: Import of elements and nodes and the associated transfer of data from one ABAQUS model to another have been improved by faster search and data transfer algorithms. Import from ABAQUS/Explicit to ABAQUS/Standard shows the most improvement: depending on the problem and the hardware used, the current version is two to three orders of magnitude faster than previous versions. Import from ABAQUS/Standard to ABAQUS/Standard and from ABAQUS/Standard to ABAQUS/Explicit show remarkable performance improvements as well.
