Proposal
We hope to create an apparatus that opens your window shades automatically in the morning, acting as a nicer way to wake up than an annoying alarm. Our apparatus would use a stepper motor to open the shades paired with a Raspberry Pi. The stimuli to open the shades would be based on time as inputted by the user using a keypad attached to an LCD. The LCD would display the current time as well as the current weather.
