You can use the Query toolset to display the label numbers of all currently active nodes or active elements in the current viewport. The active nodes and elements are those that are in the current display group, less any entities removed from the display by the active view cut.
ABAQUS/CAE displays label numbers in the prompt area for each applicable part instance and prints label numbers to the replay file.
Probing active nodes or elements returns the label numbers only; it does not provide any other nodal or element data and results. To display more information about a single node or element, see “Probing nodes,” Section 30.3.4, or “Probing elements,” Section 30.3.5, respectively.
To display active node or active elements labels:
Locate the Visualization Module Queries options.
From the main menu bar, select Tools
Query or click the 
tool in the toolbar. The Query dialog box appears, and the Visualization Module Queries are displayed in the lower portion of the dialog box.
Click either Active nodes or Active elements.
In the prompt area, ABAQUS/CAE displays a list of labels for all active nodes or active elements for each part instance in the model.
