To submit a job for analysis, select JobSubmitjob of your choice from the main menu bar. (You can also submit a job for analysis by selecting the job name in the Job Manager and clicking Submit.) ABAQUS/CAE submits the job for analysis using the job settings defined in the job editor.

When you start an ABAQUS/CAE session and submit an analysis job, ABAQUS/Standard and ABAQUS/Explicit send messages to ABAQUS/CAE indicating the current status of the job, and ABAQUS/CAE updates the Status column in the Job Manager accordingly.
