Description: The co-simulation technique can now be used to solve a crash safety simulation by directly coupling ABAQUS/Explicit with the occupant simulation program MADYMO. For a crash safety simulation the vehicle is modeled using ABAQUS/Explicit and the occupant or the pedestrian is modeled using MADYMO. The ABAQUS User's Guide for Crash Safety Simulation Using ABAQUS/Explicit and MADYMO is available via the ABAQUS Online Support System (AOSS).
