Description: A reserve frame is maintained by ABAQUS/Standard when one or more restart files are written using the overlay option. It is now extremely unlikely that a system failure during the analysis can corrupt a restart frame that has been already written. This capability particularly benefits users who wish to run large analyses that take a long time to run. This enhancement is employed automatically; there is no need for any change to existing input files.
