Description: When you open a model database from a previous version, ABAQUS/CAE locks the assembly as well as all the parts in the assembly. Previous versions of ABAQUS/CAE locked only the parts. Locking the assembly allows ABAQUS/CAE to complete the upgrade faster than if the assembly was also regenerated. In addition, you can click mouse button 3 on the assembly in the Model Tree and use the menu that appears to lock and unlock the assembly.
