This appendix contains the Python scripts that can be used to create complete models for the examples contained in this guide. These files are also included with the ABAQUS release; you can extract them from the compressed archive files using the abaqus fetch utility.
To fetch a script:
At the operating system prompt, enter the command
abaqus fetch job=<file name>where <file name> includes the extension .py.
To run a script in ABAQUS/CAE:
From the main menu bar, select File
Run Script.
The Run Script dialog box appears.
Choose the file from the list of available scripts, and click OK.
