*HEADING Test for fluid inflators. This input deck tests the following four types of fluid inflator properties for pneumatic fluids: 1. TEMPERATURE AND MASS 2. TANK TEST 3. DUAL PRESSURE 4. PRESSURE AND MASS All the above four inflator properties are tested with adiabatic, single cavity and dual cavity, single gas and gas mixture (Air and Nitrogen gas mixture considered) options. The surface based fluid cavities in all the test cases are considered to be enclosed within a cubic block of fixed volume=0.125 m^3. Each face of the cubic block is modeled using single SFM3D4R element. Effective area of 0.02 and Discharge coefficient of 0.4 is considered for dual pressure and pressure and mass type of inflator properties. Tank volume of 0.125 m^3 is considered for tank test and dual pressure type of inflator properties. In test case 9, the constituents of the gas mixture that inflates the cavity are considered to be different from the constituents of the gas mixture initially present in the cavity. In test case 10, total inflation time is determined by defining amplitude function. Results: Inflator temperature and inflator mass flow rate are considered linear functions of time in case of 'Temperature and Mass' type of inflators. As a result, an exact solution for the cavity temperature and pressure can be derived using energy equation obtained from the first law of thermodynamics, considering heat capacities for the gases to be independent of temperature. If temperature dependence is considered, then the energy equation is solved numerically to compute cavity temperature. Both exact and numerical analytical results matches with the analysis results. For 'Tank Test' type of inflator property, tank volume and tank pressure are considered to be the same as cavity volume and cavity pressure in case of 'Temperature and Mass' type of inflator property. The results for both 'Tank Test' and 'Temperature and Mass' type of inflator properties should be the same. Results for 'Temperature and Mass' type of fluid inflator property are used to create data necessary to define 'Dual Pressure' and 'Pressure and Mass' type of fluid inflator properties. Again, the results for 'Pressure and Mass' type of fluid inflator property are the same as obtained for the 'Temperature and Mass' type of fluid inflator property.
