The ABAQUS/Standard file names describe the features that are verified by each test. In most cases the first character of each file name refers to the following categories:
e Element verification
m Material verification
p Procedure verification
u Verification of user subroutines
x Verification of miscellaneous options
The remaining characters are used to describe specific information about the tests. Most of the file names are eight characters long. The material tests have names that are 10 characters long.
