Description: Previous versions of ABAQUS/CAE allowed you to merge ABAQUS/CAE native part instances or orphan mesh part instances in the Assembly module. The Assembly module now allows you to view the mesh of ABAQUS/CAE native part instances that you have already meshed. In addition, the Assembly module now allows you to merge the meshes of ABAQUS/CAE native part instances. The procedure is the same as merging orphan mesh part instances with previous versions of ABAQUS/CAE—you can specify the node merging tolerance, and you can choose whether to merge along only the intersecting boundaries.
