12.1 Defining skin reinforcements

Product: ABAQUS/CAE  

Benefits: You now use the Special menu in the Property module to define skin reinforcements on a part. The Skin menu in the Property module has been removed.

Description: You can define a skin that is bonded to the surface of an existing part and specify its engineering properties. This feature was previously defined using the Skin menu in the Property module; now you define skins using the Special menu in the Property module.
