The material library in ABAQUS/Explicit allows most engineering materials to be modeled, including metals, plastics, rubbers, foams, composites, granular soils, and plain and reinforced concrete. This guide discusses four of the most commonly used material models: linear elasticity, metal plasticity, rubber elasticity, and foam plasticity. All of the material models are discussed in detail in the ABAQUS Analysis User's Manual.
