FUTURE WORK
Currently we are only in the process of creating the basic model. During the next semester, however, we hope to finish the model and start working on evolving our algorithms. We hope that with a working model we can develop a fast process to check if we are looking into space that is still as effective as checking the whole image so we can process more images. We also plan on testing different methods of compressing the images, including determining the range of values we expect in good images and reducing the number of bits to the minimum needed to express that range. We hope that by doing this we can cut the amount of data we need to transfer for each image by at least half.
