Description

Project Overview

We are attempting to create a spinning LED display capable of displaying information on a cylindrical shape.


Objectives

  • Design the spinning LED device (final design may change but let’s start with an initial design)

challenges : learn to design with CAD

  • Build the frames to mount the LEDs

challenges : Learn about mechanical designs, learn how to use a 3D printer

  • Build the spinning LED display device

Challenges: learn how circuit works, wire the circuits considering the mechanical design

  • Program the device to display a clock

Challenges: Arduino coding, learn about Arduino hardware
